i'm leia (unfortunately my real surname is not actually lugosi) and i'm a chronically ill terminally online 1st year software eng student from scotland (fortunately i do not actually live in mortville). i'm named after the star wars character but i don't like star wars at all. bit awkward. when i was somewhere between 8 and 10 i developed a fascination with execution and torture methods that still comes and goes and when i was 14 i got banned from twitter for a year. i think that those two facts sum me up quite neatly. the mess of this page and the general incohesiveness of this site probably do a decent job at that too. organisation is boring, whenever i have a bit of spare time i throw things onto the page until i eventually have something.
my two true loves in life are frankenstein and the band fishbone. i love animals, i have a leopard gecko named nicki and a lhasa apso puppy named shelley. i enjoy watching films, listening to music, reading, playing games, going to concerts and arguing with people on the internet. i collect cds, graphic/band tees and rubber ducks. i've also started a small dvd collection but as of writing this i've recently been traumatised by a second hand box set of video nasties i bought from ebay that had a pubic hair stuck inside so i think i might have to find somewhere else to buy my dvds from.

my fav things
my favourite authors are jean genet and william s. burroughs and my favourite books after frankenstein are miracle of the rose and naked lunch. my favourite band is fishbone and my favourite artist is michiro endo, i enjoy the other projects the fishbone members past and present are or have been involved in and i love michiro's entire career from the hardcore punk beginnings to the acoustic end. i listen to quite a few genres but if someone were to ask me my favourites i'd probably say punk, funk and metal to keep it simple. my top 5 films are funny games, the texas chain saw massacre, happiness, man bites dog and poison. unsurprisingly, my favourite genres are horror and dark comedy. my favourite tv series are king of the hill and twin peaks. my favourite characters are daria morgendorffer from daria and enid coleslaw from ghost world. i'm not sure that i have a favourite game but i love the silent hill franchise. i love h.r. giger, raymond pettibon and alexander heir's artwork.
